Keep Your Grievances Private

    Friday January 9, 2009

When you are in an interview on your Australia job search, do not badmouth your previous employer, regardless of the circumstances you left in. While it can be tempting to air your grievances in an interview, it will likely come off as a red flag for the interviewer and thus extend your time performing an Australia job search.

Just think for a moment whether you would hire someone who was willing to speak poorly of your business once they moved on. It could very easily turn out that they do not fit in with your business and you would have to let them go after a month or so. Would you want to risk them telling other businesses that you were a bad employer? You probably would not, so don't hurt your chances on your Australia job search by speaking ill of previous employers.

When on the Australia job search, you need to accept that you cannot badmouth your ex-employer without consequences. Aside from the difficulties it could bring you in your Australia job search, you might even find yourself in legal troubles for defamation.
